try a 16th yellow rooster tail with 8 pounds test line.also live minnows gold if they have them around you. also if they are picky try a small floating minnow shad or sliver color stick to something small and flashy if the water is clouded or muddy,and daker if it is clear but the rooster tail is best bet and comes in a wide assortment of colors and covers a good area while casting. also a purple if you have one works well.
