es, man. There is ice in the canyon at Big Elk Creek. We fished on it last Saturday and did rather well. Lots of light bighting cutts but nothing over 16 inches. Also caught a Rocky Mountain bonefish (whitefish) which was a first for us at Elk Creek. Ice was three to four inches thick and clear all the way through. With the cold this week it should be six inches plus now. As always at Pallies, the shore ice is sketchy so be careful getting on. Nightcrawlers or red and white tube jigs tipped with a mealie do the trick. Hope to fish it on Saturday. Good luck.
