This years little Ice Fishing project (to this point).
#1
Here it be [inline "Rods extended.jpg"]

The above photo shows the seat folded down to create a sleeping area. Well padded, 2" of foam. Note that a persons feet will not be on the ice while fishing unless they so choose. There is 3/4" between the ice and the bottom of the tip out floor while a person sets on the seat. Note that the lid opens to form the upper back of the shelter so wind should not effect this unit at all when its butt is in the wind.

The above photo shows the foldable over night floor in place with two hatchways for fishing as well as the seat. All poles fold back against themselves except the support poles. They merely snap into place. This unit sets up to be 6' wide, 6' tall, 8' long. Its not light at over 100lbs but its meant to withstand the Windy conditions I often fish in. And as I said, the old Red Mule does most of the pulling anyway.

[inline "ready for travel.jpg"]

Above photo shows the unit closed up and ready to travel.. 6' long, 29" wide, 25" tall (including its ski's), and yet, its still awaiting its fabric! ARGGGG! [unsure]
