BFT's position on recent events
#46
[reply][reply]
In one of the threads that was deleted, BLM and someone else used the terms "jerk" and "dink" to describe the poster in question. When I pointed this out, bingo, the thread disappeared.

[black]Hey, Fishrmn, did you ever think that maybe someone agreed with your assessment of the situation and deleted the thread based on that? Naw, you'd rather think we were a bunch of hypocrites and be right, wouldn't you?[/black][/reply]

Nope. I think if "someone" agreed with my assessment of the situation, that they would've come forward with an apology. I can't see why the thread was deleted if you, or any other moderator agreed with my view. But it is much easier to delete everything and start over. I don't want to be right. I'd just like to see the board be all that it could be. I'm sorry If I offended you. But I still feel like the point had to be made. I didn't mean it as a personal attack. I know that it is difficult to refrain from using offensive language and terms when dealing with a heated topic. I personally can cure cancer, clear buildings, and redirect traffic with my profanity. But on the boards, I try to keep a more polite demeaner.

I don't want to jump to conclusions about you, and I hope you don't jump to any about me either. I'll bet that if we were fishin' by each other that we'd be helpin' each other figure out what they were bitin' on.
