But many on this forum continue to have the attitude of "Well that sucks, but now I can fish for my favorite species of fish in that lake now".

My sentiments exactly. I don't post much, but a few of my posts have been in response to THE VERY FEW who have posted on this board, both in the past, as well as the present, with this attitude. For example,I like to fish for Walleye as much as anybody, but it KILLS ME when I read stuff like this. These quotes were taken from a thread a while back regarding the POSSIBILITY that Walleye were illegally introduced into Jordanelle:

1.)That would be extremly good news!!! I hope it does multiply and replenish so that's another excuse for me to go to Jordanelle!

2.)Whoever bucket-planted the 'eyes apparently knew what they were doing, understanding the 'eyes' feeding, spawning patterns etc. Kudos to that anonymous buckethead!

3.)I DONT SUPPORT BUCKET TRANPLANTING BUT IF THE EYES ARE THERE I WILL HUNT THEM!!!! IF THIS MAKES SOME PEOPLE MAD IM NOT SORRY I CHASE EYES. ITS MY PASSION

We ALL (including myself) should take the time to learn as much as we can about the effects of illegal transplanting. Keep in mind, I AM IN NO WAY IMPLYING THAT ANY BFT MEMBER PARTICIPATES IN BUCKET BIOLOGY!!! But there seems to be a minority, not just on this board, but in society in general, who are willing to compromise their thinking regarding this activity in order to satisfy their own fishing preferences. And that, my friends, I will NEVER understand.
