BFT's position on recent events
#38
Hello fishrn,
It's a shame that when a topic escalates that things tend to get out of perspective. I would hope that we all could always maintain a perspective that keeps us open minded and helpful when faced with a topic we are passionate about.

I think it is safe to say that there are degrees of derogatory posting behavior and I think that sometimes many of us come close to that line. I don't ever condone derogatory posts but understand that they do happen and do not always result in banning. Attacking posts are never condoned and if they are found on this site they will be deleted.

For a bigger perspective on the issue don't you agree that overall behavior on the board over time factors in when deciding to address a derogatory post. It is never o.k.

When someone is new or has a reputation for derogative posts the issue would be dealt with a bit differently then someone who has been here for years and has a bad day but in the case of attacking posts they are not allowed on this board. At the very least they are deleted.

I would like to remind people of the terms of use on this site and ask that everyone simply follow the rules.
