Sorry I took so long to reply to your question, I only look at this board once a week or so. Anyways as for your question I think you could just cover around the holes that are leaking. Rhino liner is like a thick paint and goes on thick. I took mine to Rhino Liner shop and they sprayed it in. It is very nice looking and they textured the surface so its not slippery. Mine is white and dont heat up in the sun. I also have lined my truck tool box with the stuff from checker. And it sealed up the cracks in this good. The prep work was just al ittle sanding and then I just rolled it on.
