Hi All-
I was out chasing bambi - got a fat 2 x 3 this morning on Boulder Mtn., I know, hunting is a lesser sport, but the in-laws insist. I use the solid body pointers, not the live pointers, because the live pointers don't dive as deep. I echo your thoughts on the cost - but you can't argue with the success they produce. I have one of those extendable nets, extends out to like 7 feet or something. That's my lure retriever, with six hooks its easy to snag at least one hook with the net. I bought about 30 pointers on Ebay last winter for $7.00/ea or so, that takes a little of the sting out. I thought I saw FishingWaters on the ramp at around 6:15 on Friday. That was nasty fog. Hitting it again this Friday.
