a civil suit can be filed aginst the dirver for reckless endangerment in the case he came close to you if and only if you were not ticketed for poaching.
if is a
thing to see officers who become over zelloused in thier jobs and inflict undue force upon any one... that is a crime in itself.
as for the salmon dieing that is not nessasarily true in case of the atlantic salmon, this species actualy spawns 3-5 years before dieing. When doing the research on this species last year I was truly amazed to find this fact. I posted my research findings of this species on the boards here last year.
thanks for the update, I was run off the river a couple times last year by snaggers, it was to difficult to properly fish when you have those ball jacks riffeling though the current snagging everything including my lines. when they came out I just went back up to my truck and took a nap for a couple hours and waited for them to leave. It wasnt worth my time to fight with them and I had heard the stories about the game wardens doing as you mentioned above and thought it would only be a matter of time and they would be hauled off the river...
