To Smelly Jelly, or not to Smelly Jelly

i am not convinced it makes a difference. I have used it at strawberry, and caught just as many without it. I caught 30 last year on a float tube in a 5 hr. period without smelly jelly. But maybe it works, if it really does then maybe i would have caught 40 or 50.
