To Smelly Jelly, or not to Smelly Jelly
#6
I, for one, have used the jell type smelly jelly in syringes to fill tube jiggs up with. Originaly I used to just try my best to "push" a glob into the tube. But then I got thinking ... why not just heat up the smelly jelly jar in the microwave until it becomes liquid then pour it into (or suck it up into) the syringe. The whole end of the syringe has to be cut off for this to work. I tried it and it worked fantastic. Even Mamma Coot liked the idea untill she realized it wasn't really crab leggs I was heating up in the microwave!

Something else I have heard of, but never tried, is to put a small piece of cotton up in the tube jig and then soak it good with your choice of smelly stuff.

However, I think I will make a run to Sportsmans right now and check out some of that "Mike's" stuff that Predator was talking about.
