I dont think that humans are 100% responcable for the ice caps melting because science has shown that the earth goes in cycles of warm to cold, as well as the shifting of the magnetic poles but that is another issue.
The earth has had 3 ice ages, personally i think that the earth is going into a warming trend, for how long i dont know, but i think that it will lead to another ice age, if the magnetic poles keep shifting the polar caps will be more on its side and we will all be buying up prime realestate in antartica.
