[cool][#0000ff]It might sound like a lot of "stuff", but my goal in getting the book published is not just to make a buck. I feel a need to get it out of my head and on paper (or CD) for other fellow "floataholics" to have access to.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]With that in mind, I have given up on the idea of getting sponsors or having publishers involved. I will be self publishing and handling all of the distribution myself. That should make it possible to cut out some of the "fat" in a price point, so that those who want it can afford it. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I have been in advertising, printing and publishing going back to the early days, when it was typesetting, PMTs, color separations and all that stuff. With today's technology it is much easier for someone to whup out a book on their own, and to work a good deal with a printer.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]It's hard to believe the prices on even the simplest books these days. Some of the smallest and least comprehensive books on specific subjects are priced at ten times what they were not so many years ago. Kinda like oil prices. No good reason for it but we still gotta pay the money.[/#0000ff]
