I say scarf up that job with your unkle. there are only a few days left and it pays better than anything else.

dont sit on the stick, opertunities dwelled upon are opertunities lost. you can bet you last fishing worm that some one else is using the same advice that I have lent you...

no doubt the mason job is hard labor, it also builds mussles and you get paid for building them, it also build chariture. and it is only a few months left.

as for cat fish, if you are looking at cats and not bullheads go with the 0/1 hooks or larger and load them up with crawler, or a big shinner (dead is find so long as it is freshly dead and not moldy) find you a hole in the river or a bend or a log with a swell behind it to cast it in with enuff weight to hold it down there.

many of us use bells to let us know when we get a strike, dont go out alone.
