I got one back in September, I love it it has been trouble free. I like the drag. The whole unit is smooth to opperate. I was away from home and had the oppertunity to go fishing but had no gear with me so it was not a planed purchase, but it now is my prefered reel to use. I have it on a colapsable rod also from Zebco. It goes with me any time I leave home
