I fish that pond quite often. Last thursday, I caught a couple dozen smallies(one over 13 inches) and as many perch(a couple of lunkers) as a person can forget catching. If you want to fish it sometime, let me know - I can show you the "spots" Micropterus dolomieu and Perca flavescens hold(or if you want, I can show you some big holes where the big Salmo trutta and Oncorhynchus mykiss also hang out).
BTW - the wind up there is notorious - especially when it picks up in the afternoon(and it almost always does). It(the prevailing wind) coincidently, can make it a challange to trailer a small boat due to the orientation of the ramp. My opinion is that Rockport's ramp is just about the worst placed ramp in Utah - considering the consistant wind and ever-present waves.
