Bass rods is correct on the 4 lbers.
I believe it was two springs ago, one of the guys from the riverdale sportsmans went with the DWR on thier shocking trip.
They shocked up a lot of bass, and some very very nice ones as well.
It gets hit for bass by a few anglers, but the wind usually blows up there. I think that scares away tons of finesse fishermen.
I know the last time I was up there fishing bass, the stinking wind blew me all over the place, and made fishing tough. Ended up just calling it a day.
