Rod wraping and drying motors
#1
Hi I've been reading some old posts on this board and there were a few questions about motors for rod wraping and drying. I've never built a rod so I'm not sure about rpms needed for either.
I'd guess 1-10 rpms for drying and 20-60 rpms for wraping? Maybe someone can clue me in.

But anyway here is a link for motors, ac/dc and all kinds of other stuff. Look at inline gearmotors. Low rpm low hp motors from $3-$20. Maybe these will work.

If link doesn't goto surpluscenter.com and click on electric and search the catagories.
