If you troll in the middle of the lake toward Wild Rose Ranch on the north shore, there is about a square mile of open water with very few weeds there. If you want to catch fish there you should fish from 6-9 in the morning and 7-9 in the evening. Flyfishing has been excellent (41 fish on Tuesday morning) around the mouths of the creeks.
