That really stinks that the ranger was busting your chops about Sparky. I've heard the guys up there have really become Nazi's about petty stuff, giving tickets for taking a breath the wrong way pretty much. I can't believe the lady complaining about the dogs.... thats a joke!!! [mad] Its not like you have some out of control dog and I'm sure the dude probably had pretty good control of his three... he must have to take that many at once. I wish they would worry about people like the drunk kids that go screaming around the lake in Daddy's boat running people out of their way and creating havoc for people up there actually trying to enjoy some time on the water. Or PWC folks that insist on screeching by anyone with a rod in their hands for no other reason than to be a nuisance. Seriously, there isn't much damage a dog can do once he's in the water.... not like he can come flying out of the water and attack somebody... give me a freakin break. I'm glad I still have a few corners of the earth where I can go and be pretty assured I get some solitude where I don't have to worry about ignorance from unwanted company or being henpecked to death by overeager Barney Fifes......
