Hi Allen...To me, food cooked over charcoal taste better than cooked over a gasser. It doesn't really take that long to get charcoal going, I just sit down, relax and read a couple fishing articles. This evening I cooked up my famous beer brats...1-can of beer in a skillet, add some chopped onions, chopped green peppers and a dozen black pepper corns. Simmer for 20 minutes, turning once, then brown them in the ole Weber charcoal grill. ummm good! [cool]
