Thanks I looked it up on utah.gov. It looks like utility/boat trailers do not need to be registered if the (unburdened) weight is less than 750 lbs. If the trailer (unloaded) weighs over 750 lbs. then it must be registered. It also states, however, that all campers must be registered, and I assume a tent trailer would be classified as a trailer anyway. Thanks for the help anyway, it looks like I'll have to register it.
