[cool] Before curent circumstances intervened I too suffered with the same dilemma, I found a solution to the problem and that was to hunt out of my canoe with my rifle while at the same time running my trap line and trolling and casting.
The DNR officer who stopped to talk to me a day or so later said he came to the same spot every day just to watch me do my thing. He also stated that in watching me in the falling snow was like going back a few hundred years in time.
Not only did I have a great time I also relieved some of his stress form his job. He never did check my licenses. Though I always carried at that time well over a hundred bucks worth of wild game license every year.
I am glad to see you back, I had thought that them deer had you tied up to a tree in the woods some where. [laugh]
