Welcom aboard fishwriter. Birch Creek can be a fun place to fish. For the past few years the DWR has mostly stocked tiger trout. Last fall KUTV did an outdoors special on the little lake and it got hit really hard. Pretty much got fished out. The drought has also been very hard on it. It's only a small reservoir, so it doesn't take much to put the hurt on it. You can drive up to the base of the dam, and then you have to walk up it. It's a nice place even if you don't do well fishing. Good luck.
