I have recently decided to try fishing for other things than trout. So I made the trek to Utah Lake, hoping to snag a Walleye. I used minnows and worms, 4 hours later I left with nothing but one very questionable bite. Went back last night looking for cats and walleye, using minnows and worms again, and actually caught 3 mud cats, but still now walleye. I'm hoping somebody has figured out these mythical fish, and might share some tips with me on how to bag me one. What baits do you use, lures, fish off the top or bottom, time of day, anything would help.
