First thing you should do is check the belt. They usually have problems with slippage when they go bad, but it could be sticking. The biggest problem with those type of clutches, is that they eventually wear out. Just like a snowmobile clutch. If the clutch is gone, they are usually around $500 to get repaired. Sometimes a rebuild kit can be of benefit, but those are usually short term repair options. Good luck.
