Microsoft Excell is the dealio for that. Even better is if you could find a computer-based calender. Then your day, year, month, and moon fase will already be on there; all of which are very important if you're serious about making a log. Then, all you have to add is water temp, location(via GPS or Map numbers), type of rig you used, depth, weather, bait or lure, speed(if you trolled), anything different you added to your set up, and of course the amount and species of fish you caught. And bingo, you've successfully made a professional grade fishing log that will, if properly tracked and maintained, help you target the techniques and stratagies that are working based on different criteria, and thus improving the number of fish you catch in the years to come.
