[cool]Hey jj74. Yeah they will eat up the trout. I haven't got one yet on a rapala but I have seen them hit A/C plugs on the surface.As long as your lure looks like a trout and is close to the same size( this can vary but you can use lures that are smaller say 4" or bigger) you should get bit. Usually they will hit the trout lures all during the trout planting season which is from November to the end of March. After that it is a hit or miss situation.
