Winners will take home a first place cash prize for the heaviest catch of the day. The 2nd to 25th winners will receive cash or prizes.
Competitors may enter the ice area at 8:00 a.m. Fishing runs from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. Please arrive early to ensure yourself a great hole. Signs will be posted along the highway to ensure you find us.
Rarin' to go? A horn will sound to begin and end the tournament. All iceholes are pre-drilled. You need only focus on catching the big one.
If you need more ammunition to catch that monster fish, live and frozen bait will be available on the ice. Don't sweat it if your thermos is empty early! A canteen will be set up for your convenience.
The operators of this Ice Fishing tournament encourage all fishermen to consider ethical fishing practices and conservation whenever and wherever they are fishing. This is a catch and release tournament and all Manitoba Angling rules apply. [/ul]
