Honestly I have no clue about access right now to Red Creek. My guess is right now you could make it with a 4 wheel drive with good snow tires. but that is due to no recent snow. If you are interested in going up there, it is not that much further from the current creek cut off. Go to Red Creek, and if it is snow packed you are not that far from Current Creek. i may head up there next week anyways.
