Good artical,
I have been a long time fan of habitat development. meaning I like the idea of plot feeding but with a twist. I like to plant perenial tall rye grasses or anual self seeding grasses. taller the veriety the better I like it. Back when I was on the farm before all these regulations set in we raised pheasents and released them on the farm for hunting in the fall. providing ample shelter is a must, they need some place to get out of the wind and eliments. I have found that they will take up home in just about the same environment as a rabbit.
Many a time we went out and didnt know weather to aim up or down when kicking brush[laugh]
