GEEZER, welcome to the site, I too feel that the term lurker detracts form the image of the site, and that it is an uncalledfor steriotyping of all of our, little and non-contributing members. The word itself lends one to think of someone who stays in the shadows, who has something to hide and wishes to not be seen. I know that alot of the "lurkers" are great and responciable fisher men who may not be all that computer literate, or who just plain dislike typing up their reports for fear of coming across wrong or confusing.

This as well as most all of the other internet open forums have alot of "lurkers" but it is because some of us just like to read what is stated, to help increase our knowledge and if we have a question we will ask or if we have something that may be of interest we will share it, but other wise we just sit back and read what is said, and there is nothing wrong with it.

Nowhere did it say whe you signed up that you had to share every fishing report or comment on every fish caught, it is nice to have new members join and start to contribute though, but if its not your thing oh well you dont have to share.

Once again welcome to the boards, and if you ever want to post up a report or a question feel free to, If not oh well, you are always welcome on these boards.
