FLW Outdoors has announced that registration for the upcoming 2005 Wal-Mart FLW Walleye League season will open to the general public beginning Jan. 21. In addition, Ranger boat owners can begin registering as early as Jan. 19 while Champion, Stratos and Skeeter owners can begin registering Jan. 20.
Entries will be accepted beginning 8 a.m. Central time on each of the January registration dates. Anglers entering with a counterpart (boater with a co-angler, or co-angler with a boater) will be given priority. All others will be confirmed in order of entry.
In its third season, the FLW Walleye League – formerly known as the RCL Walleye League – will offer 13 competitive events among three divisions: Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. More than $450,000 will be awarded to weekend walleye anglers in 2005. Each division will host three one-day tournaments and a two-day Super Tournament, all serving as qualifying events on the road to the season-capping $115,000 FLW Walleye League Finals.
