same here...i've moved from back east to CA (sacto), Oregon, New Mexico and now the Salt Lake area..all for the same line of work.
The offer is a decent one. I'm not sure that i want to trade the snow for hot summers tho...but i HAVE to have fishin opportunities...lol...strange priority for some maybe, but not for me. I'm divorced and single so i can go wherever i want to. The fishin opportunities were non-existant in NM and now that i can fish again here in the SLC area..i don't want to give that up.
I'm not set on any type of fishin either. I do love trout fishin...which i did a lot of in OR in small rivers and high mountain lakes. Back east...in TN i did a lot of mostly catfishing with some wading in small streams for black bass (some folks called them red-eye locally) and small mouth. I haven't owned a boat in many years, so for now i still trudge along the shore with my boxer running around somewhere in the area..lol
