Hey, thanks for the tip. I release my billfish as well, I just wanted to know, that's the part of the "just in case" I was mentioning. Sometimes you get a bad hook set and letting them go is doing nothing more than releasing them to a less admiral meal for a shark. LOL, i'd much rather eat them myself if that's the case. I just wasn't shure because i'd never tried it before. But, if smoked is the trick, i'll have to try it should the opportunity arrise. We hook alot of sailfish here in Guam, alot by accident, so the chance of a foul hook is pretty high. Thanks alot for the info. I'll let yall know how I do this weekend. I'm going to try and snag some Wahoo, and maybe sneak out and go for some whites. Thanks again.
