What to do when your waterproof boots leak?

waterproof or water resistant? big difference in footwear. if they are goretex and they leak take them back if they are under warranty. if they are not good ole fashioned mink oil is what i use on boots that are not goretex and i want some protection from water in my boots. keep in mind if they are water resistant, they are just that they resist water for a little while just as a wool sweater will but once wet they soak it up.
