Thanks for the report! Three days of fishing on Lake Mead, you animal, I wish I could fish that much!
We almost always fish a.m. because of the launching ramp congestion in the afternoons. Not many boats launching at 5 a.m. and we pull out around 11 a.m. before it gets too crazy. The lake seems less windy during the morning on average also. Four foot waves mean we will be wet when we arrive at the dock! My partner is great at handling the truck so it makes hauling out less of a hassle. When I go out alone it is much more difficult to lanch.
