largemouth and smallmouth can reproduce and create a hybrid. They are called Meanmouths. Rare but can happen. Caught one in arizona once. Or at least I think it was one. Read an article about them once that stated some state tryed to raise and plant them in lakes. They were to vicius of feeders and would bite anything thrown at them including toes of people swimming in lakes.
