RECORDED: [Image: mssunny.gif] 70 ° [Image: blackSpacer.gif] FISHING: Good
Grand Ronde River
Good

This is an awesome river. I vistited it for the first time on Saturday 10/9 and it was great!! I caught one fish on a Green Butt Spey and had two other pulls and I only fished about six hours. I was fishing just upstream of Bogan's Oasis. I also called up to Bogan's on Tuesday and they told me that the fishing was still good but there were a lot of people. Swinging flies on a down and across cast worked the best and flies like Green Butt Skunks and Purple Perils are very effective choices. Stop in and have a talk with Bill at Bogan's and he can give you all the info you need and some last minute flies to try.

Flies: Skunk, 2-6, Green Butt Skunk, 2-6, Red Butt Skunk, 2-6, Freight Train, 2-6, Signal Light, 2-6, Max Canyon, 2-6, Purple Peril, 2-6, Patricia, 2-6, Spey flies in black, purple, chartreuse, and orange, 2-6, Muddler Minnow, 4-8, Silver Hilton, 2-6
