Welcome to BFT. There's lots of good boards here including the state specific boards.
As TubeN2 has said, the numbers you mentioned can relate to the banks which in turn can describe 1) how far from shore ie 14 mile bank, how deep ie 11 fathoms spot, or the 190 ie familar coordinates. Of course the wierd names like the mushroom bank and farnsworth come from shape of the underwater structure person attributed to having discovered a bank or reef, etc.
