lol Fair enough SM. [cool] The only reason I mentioned religion is because admittedly I don't have the complete facts -- I don't know the actual belief and/or opinion of most of the republicans in Utah. However, I do know that approximately 50% of the state belongs to one predominant religion, and that religion's position is that abortion is wrong unless to save the life of the mother or in case of rape or incest. Consequently, if those 1+ million people maintain the same opinion (which is also a supposition, I admit), then they also believe it to be wrong to allow abortions, EXCEPT in those cases. I don't know about nationally, but in the ultra-conservative state of Utah there are plenty of republicans that allow for those exceptions.
