RECORDED:
60 °
FISHING: Good
Location: South Puget Sound
Time Fished: Dawn to Dusk
Summary: I fished Point Southworth, Purdy and Ollala and found the fishing to be consistent at each spot. It wasn't on fire, but I did find fish consistently. Silvers were still showing at Southworth and there are a ton of silvers at Ollala, but they were pretty tight lipped when I was there.
The cutthroat were taking herring imitations and orange colored flies. I also fished a rolled muddler and took a few fish. The tides were very slow moving for most of the day and I think this spread the fish out a bit.
I also raised a few fish on dries, but didn't hook any.
Patterns Fished:
Various flatwings, rolled muddler, saltwater dry fly
