this after noon was a little better, I didnt forget as much....
we got out to the lake and was launching when a reporter form the detroit news hit me up for an interveiw.
they were talking about what the EPA had to say about the murcury level in the lake I was fishing....
I expressed my veiws and got in a lick about that pbb scandle back in the seventies....
talked about the kind of fish I caught and weather or not was I going to eat them....
talked about what it would take to clean up the lake.
talked about how happy I was about the whole situation, and weather or not was I going to fish there.
half hour of yacking we realized I forgot the depth finder took me another half hour to cross the road to get to the other side to get my finder out of the truck and then cross back...
I caught about 15 bass one keeper so I will be upgrading soon...
I had a hold of a 18 inch perch,,, only long enough to get him to the serface of the water next to the boat.... then..... well you know the rest....
right about sundown my buddy landed a 8 inch perch, so I hooked him up real quick to catch a pike, I got a hold of him for a while.... but not long enough.. he did not swallow the whole thing... maybe next time.....
we ended up with a half dozen crappie for our efforts...
the day was almost picture perfect....
