well I did it again, I got another bite from a pike. no not the bigun I have been chasing for some time, but a littlen. a 19 incher.....
chubby little fella for his size. and just as toothy as a big one,,, yep I got me another bite!!! right on my index finger.... bled pretty good too...
nop he aint nothing to right home about. he is another species I have picked up for the 16 species contest... I will be looking to replace him with a bigger one of corse, but he is a counter none the less....
he was released because I did not know if the area I was fishing was one of those areas that had the special intrest in removing a number of pike by allowing pike of any size to be harvested....
It pays to know all special rules of the areas you fish. so remember to do your home work before setting out to uncharted areas....
