What is this I hear, no hockey?

What I heard on the radio is that the league has been losing money each year because of the high pay that the players are getting. They also said that the owners want to put in place a salary cap of $1.2 million but some players are already making a lot more than that and that is why the league is losing money.

I'm not a hockey player but I'm surrounded by them here in Minnesota. I'd hate to not have a hockey season around here because that would make the road rage so much worse.
