RECORDED: [Image: mscloudy.gif] 60 ° [Image: blackSpacer.gif] FISHING: Great
The Stilly has been fluctuating a little bit lately with various weather fronts moving through, but the cutthroat fishing has picked up considerably in the past few weeks. I have had reports of good fishing in both the main stem and the North Fork, so I would recommend either as a good place to start looking for these late summer/early fall river entrants. Fish the North Fork from the Cicero bridge all the way to tidewater and plan on using a floating line and attractor patterns. If the fish seem picking go smaller, and if they are down right difficult, dead drift dry flies and nymphs to them. Make sure you cover water as fish can pod up in certain locations and leave other sections of river barren.

I recommend muddlers, october caddis, spiders and small baitfish patterns.
