are fish safe to eat where you live?

We've had that warning here for more years than I can remember.Some of the lakes all fish are effected, while most lakes you have to watch how much you can eat. Stock trout seems to be the safest. Salt water as well have warnings. I'm glad to see Bush has done something in this area to tighten down on mercury. I love the guy but he needs to do more on the envirament. Being a hunter and a fisherman I'm surprised he hasn't.
