FISHING CONDITIONS - The river levels have gone up and down for the last two weeks The fishing is still good to excellent and the hatches are good. Look for the midges( mono midge) hatching everywhere to be the main diet in the morning and Baetis in the afternoon. Smaller midges are still working above Texas Hole, as well as baetis in the faster water directly above the T-hole in the main channel. The baetis hatch is still very good and a few fish are rising to them in the afternoon.

14-DAY FORECAST - Summer is here, and we are getting into our thunderstorm season. Bring your rainjacket. The fishing is always good, but right now the fishing is excellent. We are seeing a real good number of big fish and the sight fishing is getting better! Come see why the San Juan is the hottest fishing in the southwest
