Live bait

i have been useing this rig for awhile and it drive them wild as the bait see the bass or crappie or other game fish your after comeing in on it and run away from it and a running minnow is hard for a game fish to keep from hitting. i call it wacky rigging a minnow and it works well on crappie and large bass as it doesnt blind the minnow as hooking through the eyes does,or slows the minnow as though the back,holds better than though the lip with better action, but be carefull not to hook the spine or guts or minnow will die stay 1/4 in tail area and less scale removeal is better for longer minnow life and action in water, also a good minnow aeraitor will keep them lively longer.
