All Star Fishing Charters weekly fishing report
Area 9
Salmon fishing in area 9 opens July 16
Crabbing in area 9 is open 7 days per week.
Area 8.2
Tulalip Special area fishery opened for king salmon fishing on Friday June 18.
Fishing was very slow this past weekend. More of these kings will show as the month progresses.
Season open Friday through Monday noon each week through September.
Crabbing in area 8.2 remains fair to good.
The jetty just out of the Snohomish river mouth is probably the most popular and certainly very productive.
Other good spots include the shoreline from Everett to Mukilteo.
The south and north ends of Hat Island.
Area 8.1
Open for crabbing
The north end of Camano Island is excellent.
Closed to salmon fishing, Reopens on August 1
Area 10
Salmon fishing opens for catch and keep on Coho July 1
Catch and release fishing is excellent with lots of nice Chinook and some resident Coho.
These resident Coho are ranging from 2 to 3.5Lbs. Most of the fish are being caught on Jeff Head and around the Kingston Area.
Best lures have been Coyote spoons behind Coyote flashers in green.
The fish are running from 50 feet deep, down to 150 feet deep.
Open for crabbing 7 days per week.
